I marched in Jackson, MS Selma, AL and in Lowndes co AL. I arrived in Selma the week following "Bloody Sunday". Stokely Carmichael greeted us that night. We worked mostly, organizing and marching for equality. I was arrested two times while working there. We travelled by bus back to Jackson, MS to support their march and was arrested and held at the MS state fair grounds as a makeshift jail, after our release we traveled back to Selma. I worked there until '65 I think.
