I was field secretary for the Congress of racial equality. I was involved in voter registration. In registering the first blacks in St. Francisville, LA and in Bristol FL.
I have been involved in every major march for civil rights in the US, including the 1963 March on Washington and the Selma to Montgomery march.
Since, 1968 I have led the movement for SCLC in Eutaw, Alabama.
