Dear CR Veteran-website! (Mary King and Emmie Schrader and Dove Green and that SNCC crowd who were at Tougaloo in the 1964-65 period would not like me addressing a message in such impersonal ways! They all were devoted to Bob Moses and preached his message of "personalism."

I am Kenneth L. Dean of Mississippi Days in the 1964-1976 period. Freedom Democrat Party and Southern Regional Council--Mississippi Council on Human Relations, 1968 Chicago Convention, and the Selma to Montgomery March, etc.

Would like to get related to your efforts to reclaim the "beloved community." It was and continues to be special. My frequent contact is with Larry Guyot, who is now in Washington, DC. But only today, I talked with Bill Beardslee (VEP in 1960's) who is now a psychiatrist at Harvard. Anyway, we do ramble.

I am a speech writer for Rochester's first African American Mayor.) I am most interested in helping the walking wounded. I am an addict myself: I can't get off peanut butter and Yankee baseball. I hope to hear soon. Thanks and peace among the pieces,

Wife is Dr. Mary Dean, formerly of Hattiesburg, MS and she did march around the state capitol in Jackson when we were protesting John Bell Williams veto of CDGM, but unlike Jerico in the Bible the walls did not come tumbling down, but eventually John Bell did!
