I was an undergrad student at Lincoln U (PA) and first began SNCC work via a discussion of Black Students and Black Political Power. I did volunteer work for the Lowndes County Freedom Organization and a little bit of volunteer work at the Atlanta Office under Jim Forman. Then, went back to NYC to work with the Fundraising arm of SNCC as well as help form NBAWADU — National Black AntiWar/Anti Draft Union under the leadership of Gwen Patton.
