I remember Dr. Anderson well. I knew him 1962-1963 when I worked with SNCC in Southwest Georgia. He risked a great deal personally and professionally as the public face and voice of the Albany Movement. He was even-tempered and genial, often setting an optimistic and cooperative tone in public dealings. I remember (or think I do) his appearance on one of those Sunday TV shows, Meet the Press, the summer of 1962
