Dear Friends and Members of 40th ACCORD,
The date has been set for the Recognition Service in Honor of Rev. Thomas A. Wright, Rev. Thomas B. DeSue, & The Men of the Movement. It is January 28, 2005 (5 PM or 6 PM time to be determined later) at St. Paul's A.M.E. Church on M.L. King, Jr. Ave.
Please spread the word to your family and friends. Planning is still going on. Flyers will be made and distributed, invitations will be mailed, and stories/pictures, memorabilia will be collected in the next few weeks. Search your photo albums and those of your parents to see what you can come up with.
Hotel Accommodations have been arranged. Best Western Historic Inn on Ponce De Leon Blvd. will be the hotel of choice. Room rates are $75 per room/per night. The number is (904) 829-9088. One has to mention they are with the Rev. Wright/Rev. DeSue's Event to receive that rate.
