THE SOME PEOPLE exhibit has recently been shipped from The Old Capitol Museum in Jackson, Mississippi to Teaneck, NJ where it will be shown from September 18 to Thanksgiving at The Puffin Cultural Forum.
Puffin has gathered a coalition of civil and voting rights groups in Bergen county to use the exhibition for organizing voter registration drives leading up to the November election. Several public programs will be featured in September and October right at the exhibit site.
Opening Reception [along with MFDP leader Victoria Gray Adams, on Sunday, September 26.
The exhibit consists of 60 photos and more than 40 documents and text pieces compiled and written by Sue Sojourner that tell some of the story of the Holmes County Movement people.
