I have been invited to speak as a luncheon presenter at Spelman College for its Annual Toni Cade Bambara Scholar-Activism Conference on March 27, 2004, 2:00 PM. My presentation will discuss the "Life of SNCC Black Women From My Perspective." Ruby Doris Smith-Robinson will be one of my centerpieces. I will also recommend that Spelman names something in honor of their esteemed Alumnae, Ruby Doris. If you are in the Atlanta area and would like to attend, call Bahati Kuumba with the Women's Research and REsouce Center, (404) 681-3643.
