The C.B. King U.S. Courthouse dedication is scheduled to take place at 10AM on the steps. The Courthouse is located at 233 Broad Ave. in Albany, Georgia. A reception is immediately following the dedication and sponsored by the Dougherty Bar Asso. There will also be limited tours of the first floor of the courthouse. The procession to the Civil Rights Memorial, Ritz Cultural Center & Civil Rights Museum will follow as immediately as possible with other receptions and lunch can be had at local restaurants or the reception venues.

In the event of inclement weather tents will be installed.

The scholarship and celebration banquet is scheduled for later that evening around 6PM.

IMPORTANT: If looking for lodging, the following two Inns are side by side and share facilities. They are located out on Dawson Road (for those of you who remember where Dawson Road is!) They are owned and managed by same company. We have arranged for anyone making reservations to have a special rate. You should mention that you are part of the C.B. King Celebration. There are suites and standard rooms. Lodging includes full southern buffet breakfast with grits, eggs, sausage, etc. I know ya'll just missed that!

There is also a pool (although outdoor) & fitness center.
